Gerard Weesing (1948) worked as a lawyer in Amsterdam from 1984 until 1 January 2016 when he became a consultant to WILLEMS.
He studied at Leiden University and at the University of Amsterdam. Until 1996 he was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Amsterdam, initially attached to the Constitutional Law department and later to the Administrative Law department.
His consultancy work focuses mainly on administrative law, spatial planning law and media law.
