Hilmar Nehm was admitted to German bar in Cologne in 1981; since 1984 he is a tax lawyer and since 1986 a sworn accountant. He is specialized in foreign trade, cross-border-business and customs law.
Customs Law, Foreign Trade and Cross-Border-Business
The legal parameters for having a product traded across a borderline form the focus of his professional work. In this area of exper-tise not only governmental duties and taxes are concerned, but increasingly also all kinds of sovereign statism. He represents the legal interests of both individuals and associations vis-à-vis public authorities, institutions and courts on a national and international level.
Tax Law
Given the diverse regulations under tax law, well-founded legal advice rendered in connection with your questions raised in tax matters is indispensable. Especially at the juncture of tax law and customs law as well as foreign trade and cross-border-business your interests are likewise represented in legal matters regarding economic and fiscal offences.
Hilmar Nehm has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister).

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
