Dr. Thomas Knaak was born in Mexico and temporarily grew up in Guatemala. He was admitted as Rechtsanwalt (German lawyer) in 1992 until 2022 and he officiates as Honorary Consul of the Republic Guatemala. He is a member of the German and Mexican groups of countries for arbitration proceedings of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris (ICC). His special fields of activity are as follows:

International Law and Relations
This field covers business relations, contracts or litigious disputes where especially at international level attention is to be paid to the legal circumstances, languages and mindset of other countries.

Arbitration Proceedings
National and international arbitration proceedings represent a form of settlement of disputes having gained major significance in the last few years and in particular taking the mutual business interests of the parties into account.

IT-Law
The coaching of IT projects from the stage of negotiations up to final completion covers also the measures required for guarantee-ing sufficient data protection in your company, and the function as external data protection agent.
